Nepanac Suspension 5 ml contains Nepafenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory ophthalmic agent used for the treatment of pain and inflammation associated with cataract surgery and other ocular inflammatory conditions, works by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the eye, helping reduce pain, swelling, and postoperative inflammation, providing effective ophthalmic anti-inflammatory relief.
Dosage:
Instill one drop into the affected eye(s) as prescribed by the physician, usually started before surgery and continued after surgery depending on clinical condition, shake well before use.
Side Effects:
Common: temporary blurred vision, burning, stinging, eye irritation, headache,
Less common / serious: increased intraocular pressure, allergic reactions, delayed wound healing, corneal complications,
Precautions: for ophthalmic use only, avoid touching dropper tip to any surface, use with caution in patients with bleeding disorders or those using other NSAIDs.
